WHEREAS by section 75 of the Competition Act 2007, it is enacted that -
(a) the Act shall come into operation on a date to be fixed by Proclamation.
(b) different dates may be fixed for the coming into operation of different sections of the Act.
WHEREAS by Proclamation No 17 of 2008, Part I and Part II of the Competition Act 2007 came into operation on 24 October 2008
NOW THEREFORE, by virtue of section 75 of the said Act, I do hereby proclaim that Parts III to IX of the Competition Act 2007 shallcome into operation on 25 November 2009.
Given at State House, Le Reduit, this 16th day of November two thousand and nine.
